The US is a very popular destination for immigrants (permanent and temporary) from all around the world. There are, in this regard, various types of USA travel visas available for immigrating/visiting to the US in various capacities.
  • Immigrant Visa : The immigrant visa is granted to those intending to immigrate to the US on permanent basis. The United States Permanent Resident Card ( Green Card ) is an identification document for an immigrant to the United States who does not have US citizenship. This card (also referred to as Form I-551) is evidence that its holder is permitted to permanently reside and take employment in the US.

  • Temporary Worker Visa (H 1A and H 1 C Visas are meant for registered nurses to visit US for temporary employment, H 1 B Visa is meant for Specialist Knowledge Workers, H 2 B is meant for temporary non-agricultural workers, H 3 Visa is meant for trainees [excepting medical or academic], and H4 Visa is meant for spouse or dependents of H 1A, H 1B, H2 or H 3 Visa holders).   • Student Visa ( F 1 Visa is meant for those who intend to visit the US for studying an academic course or conducting research, J Visa is meant for people who are visiting the US on an exchange visitor program, and M Visa is meant for those who want to pursue non-academic and vocational training in the US).   • Fiancé(e) Visa (K1 Visa is meant for foreign-born fiancé/fiancée of an American citizen who intends to visit the US for purpose of marrying).   • Journalist Visa (Media "I" Visa is available for persons who are representatives of the foreign media and having the home office in a foreign country, willing to visit the US temporarily).

    Documents Required :

  • A Nonimmigrant Visa Application (Form DS-156)
  • A Supplemental Nonimmigrant Visa Application (Form DS-157)
  • A valid passport valid
  • One photograph
  • Proof of employment, such as letter from employment or copy of the contract with the organization.
  • Visas for athletic teams (P1 Visa), and entertainment workers (P2 Visa), and artists (P3 Visa)
  • Religious Visas (R 1 Visas are available to those who are involved with a legitimate religious denomination for at least two years and have job offers in the US to work for an affiliate of the same religious organization)
