However the Investor Visa USA can be granted only if there is a Treaty of Commerce and Navigation between the applicant's country and the US (currently 65 countries have such treaty with the US). If the investor is located in the US, he/she may apply to the US Citizenship and Immigration Services ( USCIS ) for a change of status, extension of stay, or change of employment. In case the investor is outside the US, the E2 category does not require a petition for employment. In such case, the investor can apply for the E2 visa on his or her own behalf directly to a US consular office abroad. The visa-holders can reside in the United States as long as they continue to maintain their entrepreneurial status. |
Conditions for Investor Visa :
