Before 1600: The North American culture flourished. Christopher Columbus financed by Spanish makes his first four voyages to the New World ultimately landing himself in the Bahamas. Within the same year Saint Augustine in Florida become the first permanent European colony in North America.

1600-1799: This period witnessed many events starting from French and Indian War to Boston Massacre, to Boston Tea Party to the main American Revolution. It was a war of independence fought between Great Britain and the 13 British colonies on the North America. Ultimately Treaty of Paris brings the end of the war, which declares the American Independence. The state electors declared George Washington as the first president. John Adams is elected as the second president in Philadelphia.

1800-1849: The US capital is moved from Philadelphia to Washington. Thomas Jefferson is elected as the third president in Washington D.C. This year witnessed many wars like the War of 1812 to the Mexican War.

1900-1949: The World War II is declared its neutrality in European conflict. The United Nations is established in this period.

1950-1999 : Again several wars took place like European War, Korean War, and Persian Gulf War. In this period Bill Clinton is selected as the 42 nd President of the United States.
