Also known as SOTA and TSOTA the Tacoma School of the Arts is the sole arts school in greater Tacoma, Washington. The school admits students only in the final three years of their high school. Students need to complete their 9th grade at another high school for getting admission in the school.
The Center School
Among the leading schools and colleges in Washington, the Center School located in Seattle Washington is an arts and college preparatory public school. It is also closely associated with a number of local arts groups, namely, Pacific Northwest Ballet and Seattle Repertory Theatre thanks to its unique location. Central Washington University
Central Washington University is a public university located in Ellensburg. The university was found during the late 19th century as a teachers' college and this subject still remains one of the primary majors available at the university. Research and athletics are important parts of the university and has centers in Des Moines, Pierce County, Lynnwood, Wenatchee, Moses Lake and Yakima.
Antioch University
One of the various private schools and colleges in Washington Antioch University has five campuses in four states - California, Ohio, New Hampshire and Washington. Its Washington campus is located in Seattle. It offers university wide programs such as PhD in Leadership and Change and Antioch Education Abroad. The university was established in 1852 and its chancellor is Tullisse A Murdock.
Bates Technical College
Situated in Tacoma Bates Technical College is the biggest technical college in Washington. It has received accreditation from Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities it offers Associate of Technology Degrees, which last for two years.
