Utah Location Map

The Utah Location Map refers to the accurate geographical position of the state in the western part of the United States of America. Situated in the Rocky Mountainous area of the country, Utah shares its northern border with Idaho, northeastern border with Wyoming, eastern border with Colorado, southern border with Arizona and western border with Nevada. The State of Utah encompasses total area of 84,899 square miles, which includes 82,073 square miles of total land area and 2,826 square miles of total inland water area. The total length of the boundary of Utah is 1,226 miles. Utah runs at a stretch of 275 miles in its east-west direction and 345 miles in its north-south direction. The prominent rivers and lakes of the state are clearly marked in the Utah State Map. River Colorado and River Green are some of the important rivers that flow across the state. Lake Powell, Great Salt Lake and Utah Lake are few of the notable lakes of the state. The highest point of Utah is the Kings Peak which is placed at a height of 13,528 feet. Beaverdam Wash which is situated at 2,000 feet above the sea level is the lowest point of Utah.
