The Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) is the public university system of the US state of Pennsylvania. The Community College of Allegheny County is a community college in Pittsburgh. The college offers associate's degrees, certificate and diploma programs. It has four campuses and six centers. It was established in 1966 and is the largest community college in Pennsylvania. It is seventeenth largest community college in United States. It offers more than 170 programs and has an annual enrollment of more than 63,000 students.

It has nineteen Commonwealth campuses and five special-mission campuses. Annual enrollment at the university is 95,833 students. It offers more than 160 major among all its campuses. It is one of the largest universities in the United States. In 2010, Academic Ranking of World Universities ranked Pennsylvania State University 43rd among universities worldwide.
Waynesburg University
Waynesburg University is a private university located in Waynesburg. It offers graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic concentrations with an annual enrollment of over 2,500 students. It was founded in 1849 by the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
