Manhattan is one of the boroughs (an administrative division) of New York City and also one of the most densely populated regions. It is spread over an area of 22.7 square miles and is considered to be the economic and cultural center of the United States. One of the most expensive real estate destinations in the world, Manhattan is also the world's financial capital. It is home to the New York Stock exchange(NYSE), NASDAQ, and the United Nations Headquarters.
