The beautiful city of Detroit is located on the banks of the Detroit River that connects Lake Erie and Lake Saint Clair. Detroit experiences temperate climate. Important Festivals: The Comerica Michigan Tastefest is an annual festival held in Detroit. Displayed in this festival are a variety of sumptuous dishes by dozens of Detroit restaurants. These restaurants put on display a wide variety of American and ethnic dishes in this five-day arts and cultural fair. It is held in the week of 4th of July every year.
