University of Phoenix

The University of Phoenix (UOP) was established in 1976. The founder of the reputed institution was Dr. John Sperling. University of Phoenix offers a number of Degree Programs, Certificate/ Non-Degree Programs and Military Programs.

The degree programs are offered in a number of fields like business, information systems and technology, accounting, nursing, management, health services etc. The formats include traditional classrooms, online learning via Internet etc.

Certificate/Non-Degree Programs are offered for undergraduates in various subjects such as Call Center Management, Call Center Professional Certificate, Global Management Certificate, Certified Quality Engineer, Human Resource Management Certificate, Integrative Health Care Certificate, Project Management Certificate, Certified Quality Auditor, Project Management Certificate etc.

The Military Programs include a full range of campus-based and online programs. Military Personnel can earn undergraduate or graduate degree irrespective of where they are posted.



The University is accredited by a body called the Higher Learning Commission. The University of Phoenix is also a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
