Prescott College was established in 1966 as Arizona’s only independent, four-year, liberal arts college. The degrees offered at the College are Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and Ph.D. degrees. The College also grants teacher certification. The College is accredited by a body called “The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCACS)”.
Through the Resident Degree Program students can live and study for an undergraduate degree in Prescott. Adult Degree Program and Master of Arts Program are other programs offered by Prescott College. The various academic programs offered at the Prescott College are the Resident Degree Program, Limited Residency Bachelor of Arts Program, Limited Residency Master of Arts Program, Community-based Limited Residency Ph.D. Program and Teacher Certification.
The Prescott College Library houses a variety of print and electronic resources. There’s a branch campus of the College in Tuscon that serves those who reside in Tuscon and other southern Arizona communities. It provides the students with admissions counseling, academic advising and administrative support.
