Mohave Community College is a rural, two-year, community college that was established in 1971. The College is located in Kingman, Arizona. The College was incorporated into the Arizona Community College System in 1974. The College was first accredited by a body called the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges in 1981. The Mohave Community College has four campuses at Bullhead City, Kingman, Lake Havasu City and North Mohave.
Annually, the College serves more than 11,000 students each year. The College is also a member of the Western Undergraduate Exchange Program. The College belongs to the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC). The programs of study offered at the college are Allied Health, Business, Casino Games Dealing and Culinary Arts, Computer Information Systems, Education, General Education Core Requirements, Industrial Technology, Liberal Arts, Public Safety and Science. The College has Career Planning Counselors who help with the education and training you need in qualifying. The College also offers Distance education through Online and Mixed Media (MM) Courses. The Interactive Television (ITV) courses and Web-Enhanced courses are of great help to those students for whom it is not possible to attend traditional campus-based classes.
