Desert Vista Campus of Pima Community College is located on an area of 60-acres in Southwest Tuscon.
The campus is one of the six campuses of Pima Community College. Desert Vista Campus was opened in 1993. A very special feature of the campus is that it is located on a Hohokam archaeological site.

Desert Vista Campus offers facilities such as state-of-the-art labs, classrooms and fitness facilities. There’s also an Aviation Technology Center that offers latest programs to students to become aircraft technicians. The campus provides numerous programs of instruction that help the students in developing basic skills in reading, writing, mathematics and English. Occupational Training Programs are provided that lead to employment. The campus also offers transfer degrees. Desert Vista Campus provides programming in the rich cultural traditions of the Southwest. It gives classes on playing mariachi music or painting murals.


The Campus has a special focus on Culinary Arts and Aviation Technology. The degrees offered in Culinary Arts are Associate Degree and Certificate. At the Center for Training and Development, students can enroll in continuing education, special interest and entry-level food service courses. The campus offers Associate Degree in Aviation Technology and Certificate in Advanced Aviation Technology.
