Collins College, Tempe

Collins Collige was established in 1978 by Al Collins as the Al Collins School of Graphic Design. Collins College has another campus in Phoenix, Arizona. The College offers Associate’s and Bachelor’s degree programs. The main focus of the college is on design and technology. Collins College has all the state-of-the-art facilities such as classrooms, computer labs, a digital print room, a photographic studio etc. The computer workstations and software used are of the latest technology. There’s a library, student learning centers and a student store.

The College offers Bachelor’s Degree in Animation, Game Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Media Arts, Network Technology, Visual Arts with a major in Game Art and Visual Communication. Associate’s Degree is offered in Media Arts, Personal Computer/ Network Technology and Visual Communication. At the College, students initially start with basic skills. Then they are taught about complex approaches in concept development, critical thinking and application.

Eligible students at Collins College can avail financial assistance. The assistance is provided through Federally Funded Grants (Federal Pell, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants), Scholarships, Federal Student Loans, Federal Work Study and Private Loans. Collins College offers continuous graduate employment to its students throughout their career. It conducts career search workshops that cover subjects like resume development, professional etiquette and portfolio development.
