Sheldon Jackson College

Sheldon Jackson College is a private, four-year liberal arts college located on Baranof Island in Sitka, Alaska. Around 250 full and part time students study at the campus community. The student faculty ratio here is 8:1.

Sheldon Jackson College has several majors that lead to a Bachelor of Arts degree, Bachelor of Science Degree. Academic programs leading to an Associate of Arts degree or an Associate of Science degree and Certificate Programs are also offered. Programs are offered in Business Administration, Teacher Education, Environmental Science, Human Services, Individualized Studies, Liberal Arts etc at the Sheldon Jackson College. The college is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. The Teacher Education programs at the College are certified by the National Association for State Directors of Teacher Education Colleges (NASDTEC).
