Southern Union State Community College, Wadley is a two-year college that awards associate degrees and two years of work acceptable towards a bachelor's program.
It's a co-educational College that is located in East Central Alabama. The foundation of the college was laid on August 12, 1993. The Southern Union State Community College was formed by Alabama State Board of Education by merging Southern Union State Junior College (located in Wadley, Valley and Opelika) with Opelika State Technical College (in Opelika). The Wadley Campus is one of the three campuses of the Southern Union State College. The other two campuses of the reputed College are located in Opelika and Valley.
