REID STATE TECHNICAL COLLEGE, EVERGREEN

The Reid State Technical College, Evergreen aims to provide post secondary occupational education on a nondiscriminatory basis for individuals who desire to prepare for entry-level employment, advancement or retraining in a career field.

This two-year co-educational college was established in 1966. Students are granted occupational degree and associate degree.

The various programs that are offered at Reid State Technical College are Accounting, Building Construction, Collision Repair, Commercial Trucking, Computer Information, Cosmetology, Cosmetology Instructor, Early Child Care, Industrial Electronics, Nail Technology, Nursing Assistant, Office Administration, Practical Nursing and Welding Technology. All students entering Reid State Technical College have to take the COMPASS placement test prior to registration if enrolling in more than 4 credit hours or 8 weekly contact hours.
