JAMES H. FAULKNER STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE (BAY MINETTE CAMPUS)

James H Faulkner State Community College is a public, 2-year institution located in Baldwin County in southwest Alabama. The college has campuses in three places namely Bay Minette, Gulf Shores and Fairhope.

The Bay Minette Campus of James H. Faulkner State Community College functions as the administrative campus. Faulkner State Community College is one of the members of the Alabama College System.

When the College was started, it was called Bay Minette State Junior College. Initially, James H. Faulkner State Community College had an enrollment of 401 students. The College had one campus in 1965. Now it has grown to a combined enrollment of 4,000 students on all three campuses.

The various degrees that this reputed college offers are Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Associate in Applied Science and Certificate. The various divisions of the college such as the Fine Arts Division, Office and Legal Administration Division, Social Science Division, Natural Science Division, Health, Physical Education and Recreation Division, Nursing and Allied Health Division and Hospitality Administration Division offer courses in a number of subjects. Eligible students can pursue courses in astronomy, accounting, computer science, criminal justice, economics etc.
