James H. Faulkner State Community College serves South Baldwin County and the entire Gulf Shores area. The campus houses a classroom/administrative office building and a Hospitality Building.
The Hospitality Building at James H. Faulkner State Community College has a fully equipped teaching kitchen, where students work on state-of-the-art equipment to produce gourmet meals. The Hospitality and Tourism Management Center was constructed in 1994. The facility houses offices and classrooms for Golf Course Management, Culinary Arts, Hotel/Restaurant Management, Landscape Technology and Travel/Tourism Management.
At the Gulf Shore Campus, students can enroll into the Hospitality Services Management Program. It provides four options for the students. Students can directly move to the job market in their chosen speciality. Other technical programs at the Gulf Shore Campus are Golf Course Management and Landscape Operations. The entire Gulf Coast area has become a recreation haven. Student activities include membership in societies related to technical programs, SGA activities, PTK membership etc.
