Huntsville Bible College was founded in 1986. The College is located in the Syler Tabernacle Building on Oakwood Avenue. The founder of the college was Mallard Creek Primitive Baptist Association. The first class of the college took place in 1987.
John L. Clay is the President of the College. The core values of Huntsville Bible College are Integrity, Academic Excellence, Servant Leadership, Biblical World-View and Spiritual Formation. This institution prepares individuals to become preachers, missionary workers, pastors, evangelists, education teachers etc. Huntsville Bible College provides opportunities for study on the undergraduate level. The various degrees offered are Certificate, a Bachelor of Arts degree, an Associate degree and a Bachelor of Theology degree.

The three divisions into which the curriculum of Huntsville Bible College is divided are Biblical/Theological Studies, General Studies and Professional Studies. The college also holds Candidate status with the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE).
