The Huntingdon College is a coeducational liberal arts college of the United Methodist Church that was founded in 1854. The college is located on a 71-acre campus in Montgomery, Alabama.
Approximately 800 students study here. These students represent 20 states and more than 10 countries. The academic programs at the college include more than 20 academic majors. The college offers pre-professional programs, teacher certification programs for elementary, secondary and P-12 levels.

The Huntingdon College has divided its academic programs into two schools called 'The School of Arts and Sciences' and 'The School of Business, Applied Sciences and Education'. The School of Arts and Sciences offers various programs such as the Art Program, Biology Program, Chemistry Program, History Program, Language and Literature Program, Mathematics Program, Music Program, Political Science Program, Psychology Program, Religion Program and Theatre Studies Program. The School of Business, Applied Sciences and Education offers programs in Athletic Training, Business, Communication Studies, Human Performance and Teacher Education. Students can also go in for Majors with Concentrations in Accounting, Art, Athletic Training, Biochemistry, Biology and Business Administration etc. Huntington College, Montgomery has a low student-to-faculty ratio.
