Herzing College in Birmingham was founded in 1965. The various schools under the Herzing College are School of Technology, School of Business, School of Health Care, School of Design and School of Public Safety.
The School of Technology offers Bachelor of Science and Associate of Science degrees. In Bachelor of Science, programs such as Information Technology (BSIT) with a Concentration in Computer Information Systems, Technology Management (BSTM) with a Minor in Computer Networking and Security Technology and Technology Management (BSTM) with No Declared Minor or Concentration are included. In Associate of Science, programs such as Computer, Electronics, and Telecommunications Technology (ASCETT) and Computer Information Systems (ASCIS) are included.
The School of Business offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Health Care Management (BSHCM), Business Administration (BSBA) with a Concentration in Business Management etc. It also offers Associate of Science degree in Business Administration (ASBA). The School of Health Care offers Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Health Care (AASHC) and Diploma in Medical Assisting (DMA), Medical Billing and Insurance Coding (DMBIC) etc. School of Design offers, Associate of Science degree in Interactive and Graphic Arts (ASIGA). School of Public Safety offers Bachelor of Science degree in a number of subjects and diploma in cyber-security.
