William Howard Traft National Historic Site located in Cincinnati is known to be the place where the 27th president of USA was born. Dunbar House in Dayton is an important house museum of Ohio where the famous poet Paul Laurence Dunbar spent the last days of his life. Lane-Hooven House located in Hamilton town of Ohio, which was constructed in 1863 in an octagonal shape, showcases period furnishings, stained glass gate, woodwork of ash and butternut and a unique spiral staircase. Mansion View, another interesting museum of Ohio situated in Toledo, is a Victorian edifice and carriage house which is taken care of by the Old West End Association. In 1907 the interurban railways had 2,809.22 miles of railways in Ohio. According to a survey taken in 2000, Ohio has a total of 4,525.45 miles of train tracks serviced by Class I railroads. Norfolk Southern and CSXT are the major railway service providers of Ohio. While CSXT operates over 3233 miles of tracks in the state, Norfolk Southern functions over a total of 21, 800 miles.
