Miss Teen USA 2005 was a very successful event indeed wherein the pageant was held in Baton Rouge, LA. Miss Ohio Teen USA and Miss Michigan Teen USA was the top two at this year's pageant. They come from the guidance of same director named Melissa Proctor Pitchford. The funny thing was Miss Ohio answered the question that Miss Michigan wrote and Miss Michigan answered the question Miss Ohio wrote. Miss Photogenic this year was Miss Kansas Teen USA Latasha Lawrie and Miss Congeniality was Miss Missouri Teen USA Rachel Woolard. They were all jugged on the basis of Rounds, which were on Swimsuit wear competition where the personality, figure and overall performance of the contestant mattered. Apart from it the they had to go though the Evening Gown round where they had to choose gown on the basis of their own selection apart from how they performed in the over all look in the gown. After which they has to appear for the personal interview with the contestant by the judge panels wherein they had to answer to the questions. They not only got recognition but also bagged few prizes like wardrobe, world travel, scholarship for studying, programs to indulge in one's personal grooming and development and many more. Apart from these they had to entertain themselves in some community welfare program or some social welfare organization.
