Raevan Valadez was a new face in pageant held on Sunday afternoon on November 27 where she was declared the Miss Teen Texas USA 2006. A seventeen-year smart girl whose expression radiates confidence and power and the glamorous world of beauty did give her what she desired for. She even won the title for Most Photogenic face. Raevan has had fifteen years of dance training, focusing primarily on ballet. The event was held at Hilton Houston Post Oak Hotel. One hundred forty contestants from across Texas competed for the title where the winner would win a four-year scholarship along with jewelry, travel and wardrobe along with the honor of representing the Texas next summer in the premier national pageant for teenagers, MISS TEEN USA.
First runner-up of Miss Teen Texas USA is Miss Harker Heights Teen USA from Sommer Isdale; second runner-up is Miss Fort Worth Teen USA, Lyndi Clark was third runner-up for Miss Houston Teen USA and fourth runner-up is Miss Dallas Teen USA, Christina Campfield.
Each one competed at equal level where they had to prove themselves at levels like Personal Interview, Swimsuit Compete ion, and Evening Gown Competition. The panels would judge them on the basis of their ability, poise, outlook, figure and even on looks.
