Aechmea distichantha is basically a Brazilian vase plant which is a variety of bromeliad and is typical of the Cerrado vegetation which is available in abundance in Brazil. The Aechmea distichantha is a major name among the Flora of Uruguay and is considered as a native of Paraguay and the north Argentina as well. This plant is often used as an ornamental plant in the Flora of Uruguay.
Billbergia nutans, commonly known as the Queen's-Tears, is an epiphytic bromeliad. This variety of Uruguay Flora is a native of Brazil and Argentina as well. The plant is frequently used for the purpose of ornamentation and it also much popular among all the other Bromeliads. Billbergia nutans is a durable variety of flora in Uruguay since it can defy various periods of neglect.
The Echinodorus argentinensis is in the Section Cordifolii of Subgenus Echinodorus and is mostly found in the southern regions of Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. This variety of Flora of Uruguay has submersed leaves over shorter petioles along with blades which are oval or ovate while both the ends of the plant are blunt or acuminate. This species of Uruguayan Flora comes in two varieties.
