United Arab Emirates Football is also one of the popular sports, which is widely loved and practiced by the UAE residents. However camel racing and horse racing remain the traditional sports of United Arab Emirates.
United Arab Emirates sports are a mixture of traditional and contemporary sports. Promotion of UAE football is done through the football clubs in schools, colleges, local and regional areas. The UAE Football Association (UAE FA), founded in the year 1971, looks after the promotion of the sport. It has 26 football clubs affiliated under it, each training 150 players.
The organization is also a member of FIFA from 1972. it is also a member of Arab Football and Asian Soccer Federations. The United Arab Emirates Football has been preparing itself to be at par with the best international teams.
