Al Jazira Mohamed Bin Zayed Stadium is one of the most well maintained and well-equipped stadiums in United Arab Emirates. It is a multi-use stadium located in Abu Dhabi in United Arab Emirates. The stadium is presently used to hold football and cricket matches. This modern stadium is the home ground of Al-Jazeera Football Club of the country.
Al Jazira Mohamed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi can accommodate 40,000 spectators. It is two-tier stadium with modern design. The architecture of the stadium is very impressive. There are commercial office space and luxury apartments in the complex of the stadium.
The aim of the project is to considerably improve the experience of the spectator at the Club by providing them with certain facilities. They want to reproduce features of premier grounds of UK. Few matches of the 2003 FIFA World Youth Tournament were played in this stadium.
Some of the features of the stadium are the closeness of the fans to the pitch and the design of the roof. The roof is designed in such a way that it can reflect noise of the crowd and at the same time allow proper ventilation and avoid building up of heat. The concourses of Al Jazira Mohamed Bin Zayed Stadium are open to the air and the sunshades are perforated panels on the portico and there are retractable canopies.
