Set up in 1979 the Dubai Aluminum Company was under the leadership of H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. In the past years,the company has been transferred into a global aluminum producer.
Presently the Dubai Aluminum company in United Arab Emirates generates more than 861,000 metric tonnes of best quality metal. In the past years the aluminum company in United Arab Emirates has increased its production manifolds. Today it is one of the most important suppliers of foundry alloy to the automotive industries in the Far East. It is also the major suppliers of primary aluminum for the electronic and the aerospace industries. At present the company has eight pot lines,which produce 900,000 metric tones of aluminum metal. It exports aluminum to more than forty four different countries.
Dubai Aluminum Company is also known as Dubal and it has got the certification for Quality Management Systems Standard ISO 9001.Dubal has also got the certification for ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems standard.
DUBAL has won the gold award in 2000 for the Company of the year and also the Dubai Quality Award in 1996.This aluminum company of Dubai also takes the credit of setting up the Dubai Quality Group Ideas Arabia sub group. The main aim behind forming the sub group is to start ,make and revamp suggestion programs on the aluminum industry.
