Kampala Uganda is one of the main city of Uganda and it has a population of about 1,208,544 according to the 2002 census. The city is located in the district of Kampala at 1190 m above the sea-level. Uganda's international airport at Entebbe is just 40 km from Kampala and from there the tourists get easy access to the city. Historically Kampala City of Uganda was one of the famous place for hunting for the Buganda King as it was full of wild life. Later on when the British arrived they called Kampala Uganda as "the hills of the Impala". Kampala City in Uganda is significant in terms of the government and educational point of view also. Kampala Uganda houses the head quarters of the East African Development Bank along with premiere educational institute of Uganda namely Makerere University.
Kampala Uganda Attractions and Sightseeing consists of the Tombs of Buganda Kings at Kasubi and it occupies about 30 hectare of the Kampala district. This place consists mostly of agricultural site and they are farmed by the traditional methods. The former palace of the Kabakas of Buganda is situated at the core of the hill top. The surrounding four royal tombs are the great example of architectural achievement. This site of Kampala Uganda is an example of historical beliefs and spirituality.
