New Vision Uganda is one of the major newspapers of Uganda. It is published in English and is circulated in Kampala. The circulation reached around 40.000 in the year 2002. New Vision Uganda is a daily newspaper that is owned and published by the government of Uganda.
The newspaper New Vision in Uganda has a daily publication and a weekly publication. The news covered by the newspaper ranges from international news, national issues, politics, economy, finance, business, sports, entertainments, cultural events etc. The New Vision also provides information on a variety of subjects like real estate and property, movies, cultural shows and other events.

These sections are front page, national, editorial, Regional, Columnists, letters, rastoon, people, features, sports, business and opinion. The weekly edition includes categories of news and information like weekend, have you heard, crazy world, books and art, science and tech, people and places, entertainment, society, homes, showbuzz etc.

The articles are contributed by the public. Thus this gives the people of Uganda an opportunity to express their opinions and views on different subjects.
Therefore New Vision newspaper not only gives the news of the nation and the world and provides information on various topics it also gives the public of Uganda a chance to speak out their mind. As it is published in English the circulation is limited to the educated section of the Uganda society.
