Uganda Language is varied as Uganda has a complex group of speech communities and they speak diverse languages. English has been established as the official language of Uganda although a small percentage of the population converse in English. The east African language called as "Swahili" is the popular trade language and in 2005 it has been made as the National Uganda Language. Luganda is the official vernacular language and it is spoken widely in the Central Uganda.
The linguistic division of the languages in Uganda is done accordingly with respect to the linguistic affiliation. Southern part of Uganda speaks Bantu language whereas the Northern part speaks Nilo- Saharan language. Northern Nilo- Saharan language is again divided into central Sudanic language in the extreme of North west and Nilotic language in the other parts of North.
Languages in Uganda are spread largely and the Bantu language itself is divided into nineteen other languages ans are spoken in the southern Uganda. Nyoro-Ganda is the subfamily and Ganda language has the largest number of speakers. Other distinct Bantu language are Soga, Runyankore, Chiga, Masaba, Tooro and Kenyi. Kinyarwanda is a famous language of Kisoro district of Uganda and are spoken largely by the masses of Uganda.
Other than having so many Uganda language, English is considered as the official language and the government has introduced it to educational systems and public life as well. Swahili language was highly influenced in the twentieth century and it was even taught in schools and is used in among the army and the police .Thus the Swahili language became the second official national language in 2005 and it can be related close to the Uganda Culture.
