Uganda Education has existed since 1960.
Uganda Education includes schools, colleges and many universities.
Among the
Education System of Uganda the period of primary education is seven years, the period of lower secondary education is four years and the period of upper secondary education is two years. Among
Uganda Education the period of University studies is three to five years.
Only 40 % graduates of primary school takes admission for secondary education. Only few schools are there in Uganda.
Among
Uganda Education there are many Government Universities like Gulu University, Makerere University, Kyambogo University, etc.
Education in Uganda also includes many religious affiliated universities like Busoga University, Uganda Christia University, Bugema University, etc.
Among
Education at Uganda some private secular universities are Nkumba University, Kampala International University and Mutesa 1 Royal University.
Makerere University is the oldest and largest university of Uganda which has almost 2,000 students.
