Kayseri is a small well planned city in the central region of Turkey, which has many places of tourist interest. Therefore, it has a number of hotels for tourists and travelers.
Kayseri is located in central Anatolia, and is an old city, boasting a developed and strong economy and a good number of historical sites in and around it. It is also an important center for the sale and purchase of traditional Turkish handicrafts and souvenirs. It has an airport , the Kayseri Erkilet Airport which has domestic flight running to and from Istanbul. It is also accessible by train from Ankara, the capital of Turkey.
The city is close to mount Erciyes which is the second highest mountain peak in Turkey, and a haven for sports that take place in the snow like skiing.
