The museum covers a total of 12,000 square meters of open space and around 3,000 square meters of enclosed space. These displays include items like collections of war planes, cargo carrying planes, helicopters, anti aircraft artillery and machinery, missiles and radar items used by the Turkish Air Force. The museum is open on all days except Monday and Tuesday. This is of special interest to those who want to acquaint themselves with Turkish flight technology history, and also to children to whom the structures and displays are appealing. Photo sessions are often arranged for the children with the old aircrafts.
