Turkey is a large country and Turkey airports form an integral part of the country's communication system. There are several major airports in Turkey that have opened a door to places which are otherwise unreachable.
The most important Turkey airport, the Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport, situated at the eastern area of the city has two terminals. Both domestic and international flights come and go at this Turkey airport. Another major Turkey airport is the Istanbul Atatürk International Airport which receives many flights. There is a shuttle bus that runs between these two Airports.
Other main airports include Antalya International Airport. Located on the south coast of Turkey this airport handles around 3 million passengers per year. The Antalya Airport, to the east of Antalya, has three terminals--for domestic, international and cargo. The Dalaman International Airport lies to the west of Antalya. With two terminals it provides direct flights to European places along with its regular flights.
