Nabeul is the main town of the governorate of Nabeul, and is the pottery capital of the country of Tunisia. The population of Nabeul is about 40,000; the beach and the ceramidc products are its only tourist interests.

Close to the Cap Bon peninsula, to the southeast of Tunis and north east of Hammamet lies the town of Nabeul at 36°30'N and 10°44'E.
Reaching Nabeul
Nabeul can be reached from Tunis' airport by MC 28 and either the GP1 or the motorway. Train services are connected to Hammamet and Tunis, with further connection to Sfax and Sousse. Bus services to Korbous, Hammamet, El Haouaria, Zaghouan, Soliman, Sousse, Kairouan, and Tunis.
Sightseeing at Nabeul
Nabeul has quite a few places of tourist interest for a town of its size. The main ones are:
- The souks in Nabeul - offering enticing exhibits of the wareses of the town's craftsmen like stone-carvers, potters, and weavers, they are a must visit for all visitors.
- Archeological Museum - The tiny yet very fascinating Archeological Museum, displays a city model of ancient Neapolis and an ancient map of Cap Bon, along with oil lamps, pottery, coins and jewelry.
- Neapolis - Remains of the ancient town of Neapolis are a popular tourist draw.
- Camel Market - Once famous the camel market in Nabeul is now just a tourist magnet held on Fridays.
- Place du 7 Novembre - It is the hub of Nabeul's commercial life, with shops, restaurants and banks.
Apart from these the neighboring areas of Nabeul throw up many interests for the tourists such as the Dar Chaabane, Es Somaa, Beni Khiar, Korba.
