Trinidad and Tobago is a very religious country in West Indies. The country shares its border with the northeast coast of Venezuela. The island nation has a rich historical significance as its asset. Trinidad and Tobago religion primarily centers round Roman Catholic, Anglican and Hindu religions. However, Roman Catholic is the most commonly practiced religious faith among the people of Trinidad and Tobago.
Different Religions Practiced in Trinidad and Tobago
A large number of people also practice Hinduism as their religion in the island nation of Trinidad and Tobago. Though in the minority group, Anglican religion is also practiced in various corners of Trinidad and Tobago. Besides these religions, there are protestant denominations too. There are many followers of Judaism too in the country.
Though Roman Catholic is the most dominant religion in the country, Muslim is another significant religion practiced in Trinidad and Tobago. From a very remote period, Islam religion is practiced here. Still now, there are many mosques or masjids in various places of the country.
Similarly various Hindu customs and festivals are also celebrated in Trinidad and Tobago. Not only the Hindu practitioners, but also the others enjoy these festive moods. There are many Hindu temples too spread throughout the country.
