The University of Alaska (AK) Museum of the north is an important visitor attraction and the only research and teaching museum in Alaska. The collections are organized into 10 disciplines such as earth sciences, birds, archaeology, etc. which serve as important sources of research on issues that are faced by Alaska and the North.
