The 88 storied Jin Mao Tower is not only the tallest building in China but also the 3rd tallest in the world. This well constructed building is close to the trade district in Pudong and centrally located in Lujiazui Finance, Shanghai. The building is easily accessible from different locations. It takes around 30 minutes by car from Hongqiao and Pudong International Airports and two minutes from Puxi, the area located in the west of Hungpu River.
The visitors at Jin Mao Tower can conveniently park their vehicles in the large parking space provided in the basement area. This space can accommodate 800 cars as well as 2000 bicycles. For security reasons there are hidden cameras installed in the parking ground. Jin Mao Tower, Shanghai has a number of striking features. The six storied annex building of the tower comprise a conference hall, banquet hall, multi-function hall, a center for recreation, and halls for exhibition purpose.
Adrian D. Smith while designing Jin Mao Tower incorporated the traditional culture of China into the modern architectural styles to make the look unique and exquisite. This tower which is 1380 feet high spreads over an area of 5.68 acres of land. The 1st and 2nd floor contain a large lobby for holding business meetings while all the modern offices are assembled in the floors from the 3rd to the 50th. The electrical and mechanical services are offered in the 51st and 52nd floor. The 53rd to 87th floor is occupied by the elegant Grand Hyatt hotel. The 88th floor of Jin Mao Tower is a viewing deck accommodating 1000 people at a time.
