Dachau Concentration Camp, Germany is the earliest of the Nazi concentration camp, which had set the example of the what concentration camps across Europe would mean. The Dachau Concentration camp is located at the base of an abandoned ammunition factory. It officially became functional from the 22nd of March 1933, just months after Adolf Hitler became the Chancellor of Germany. In the initial period, the Dachau Concentration camp was meant for political prisoners from Munich. Later, Hitler ordered the mass murder of Jews in this camp as well as other concentration camps throughout the German controlled Europe.
