The town of Byron Bay is located at the north-eastern coast of Australia, in the state of New South Wales (NSW). The town is at a distance of about 103 miles to the south of Brisbane city and about 480 miles to the north of Sydney. Byron Bay is about 56 miles from the Gold Coast and is in the Northern Rivers region.

From the Balina/Byron Bay Gateway Airport a number of Virgin Blue, Jetstar and Regional Express buses get you to Byron Bay within 40 minutes. Though there are no trains connecting Byron Bay, daily coaches by Countrylink connect the beach region with the rest of the country. Cars can be rented from Brisbane to get you to Byron Bay and the drive is a pleasant one.

The Crystal Castle offers you a breathtaking, tranquil, and inspirational landscape that is seldom paralleled elsewhere.
Byron Bay Ballooning: Looking down at the endless stretch of Byron Bay's beautiful beach stretching right up to Mount Warning and beyond while breathing fresh mountain air is an out of the world experience. The total balloon flying time is approximately one hour. If you are lucky you can view the rainbow from the air.
Sky Diving: For the most adventurous visitors, sky diving is the ultimate experience.
