The McCombs School of Business, at the University of Texas at Austin founded in 1922. The college was renamed the Red McCombs School of Business in honor of businessman Red McCombs who announced a $50 million donation to the University of Texas. The MBA Investment Fund, LLC. founded in 1994 became the first legally constituted investment fund organized by MBA students.
