McCombs School of Business

The McCombs School of Business, at the University of Texas at Austin founded in 1922. Being one of the most distinguished business schools in the United States, McCombs School of Business, which grows each year expanded its curriculum with 10,000 students. The college was renamed the Red McCombs School of Business in honor of businessman Red McCombs who announced a $50 million donation to the University of Texas. It offers wide range of courses like MIS (Management Information Systems) degree started in 1990 besides MBA. The MBA Investment Fund, LLC. founded in 1994 became the first legally constituted investment fund organized by MBA students.

McCombs School of Business became the first to require students require students have an email address. The accounting program offered by McCombs School of Business has been recognized as the recognized as the best in the nation.

Most of its programs have achieved the top 5 position. McCombs School of Business is the only school to have all its undergraduate business program ranked as top 10. Its main programs include Undergraduate Programs, MBA Programs and Doctoral Programs. The doctoral programs available are Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, and MSIS, which emphasize the importance of research.
