Holding the title of one of the largest business schools in the Iberian Peninsula, Instituto de Empresa an international business school, is based in the Spanish capital of Madrid. Established in the year 1973, the school was formed without religious ties, which makes it different from other Spanish business schools. Having accredited by EQUIS, the Association of MBAs and the AACSB, Instituto de Empresa was the first business schools in Madrid to offer MBA program.

José Mario Álvarez de Novales, who holds the chair in business strategy and Ignacio de la Vega, former General Director of Commerce, Foreign Promotion and Consumption at the Consejería de Economía y Empleo, Comunidad Autónoma de Madrid and now the professor of entrepreneurship and strategic management are the lead staff of Instituto de Empresa, where Santiago Iniguez Del Onzono, an active participant in the World Economic Forum serves as the Dean.
