INSEAD, a privately funded, independent European business school was founded in 1957, three months after the treaty of Rome. Located in Fontainebleau near Paris and Singapore, INSEAD has been certified by EQUIS and AMBA. With a variety of programs, the school outshines the other business schools in the country. It began its first program on Asian business in 1974 and PhD program in 1989. The launch of Singapore MBA class in January 2000 with 53 students from around 26 countries was the turning point of INSEAD, which soon expanded into a well-known institution, which provides world-class education. After the announcement of INSEAD-Wharton Alliance in May 2001, INSEAD's resources were combined with those of Wharton's campuses in Philadelphia and San Francisco.
The one-year MBA program with dual campus learning environment makes it different from other business schools. The INSEAD Executive MBA Program (EMBA) is focused on the working people who are ambitious and are willing to boost their career.
