Formed in 1969, the Fuqua School of Business is regarded as the youngest of the top-tier U.S. business schools. The school, which comes under the Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, has established itself as one of the leading business schools in the world. With the mission to provide the highest quality education for business and academic leaders and to promote the advancement of the understanding and practice of management through research, the Fuqua School of Business enrolled its first graduate class in 1970 with 20 students.
The alterations made by Thomas F. Keller, a 1953 Duke graduate who became the graduate school's dean was said to be the turning point of the school, which in turn became one of the world's top business schools. The Fuqua School of Business offers variety of MBA programs apart from the usual full-time course.
