EM Lyon

EM Lyon (École de Management de Lyon), affiliated to the Lyon Chamber of Commerce and Industry was founded in the year 1872. Being a leading French management school, EM Lyon is consistently ranked fourth among business schools in France. The mission of the school is to serve both individuals and organizations through a wide range of programs.

The school has achieved the accreditations by EQUIS, AMBA for the International MBA program and by the AACSB. Ranked 21st in Europe for Executive MBA program and 32nd in Europe for International MBA program, EM Lyon also adds various programs to its curriculum such as MSc in Management, MS programs, MEB (Master in European Business), Full-time or part-time MBAs, Executive programs, Entrepreneurship programs and Doctoral programs. EM Lyon is in an effort to begin another new course in its curriculum-PhD in Management.

The three main orientations of the school are Internationalization, Entrepreneurship and Technology. The main open programs offered by the school are Program in General Management (PGM), Personalized Programs, Tailor made Programs, Language Programs, International Executive Programs and Entrepreneurship Programs.

EM Lyon's faculty team consists of 84 permanent professors, 20 instructors, and 36 associate visiting professors. Above all, 50 corporate guest lecturers add to this expert team. Being organized into five departments such as Markets and Innovation, Strategy and Organization, Economics, Finance, Control, Institutions, Law and Systems and Management and Human Resources the faculty contributes much in providing academically sound and professionally oriented education.
