Timor Leste media includes both the print and the electronic media of which the most widely used source of information is the radio. Radio is used all over in Timor Leste and enjoys such high popularity due to the fact that the receptivity is good. Timor Leste T.V viewing varied from place to place. The highest Timor Leste T.V viewer ship is in Dili. Places like Manufahi and Ermera have very few people who watch the television. In these places rarely do people have their own television set.
Timor Leste T.V broadcast station includes Televisao Timor Leste or Televizaun Timor Lorosae. This station broadcasts in both Tetum and Portugese and also provides retransmissions of RTP Internacional from Portugal, BBC World from UK and ABC Asia Pacific from Australia. Only Dili has the terrestrial television signal. The year 2007 was marked by the achievement that the RTTL's service could be availed through the satellite. This included both the television and the radio service.
