- Massive Earth quake of 8.8 magnitude hit Chile in 27 Febrauary 2010. The Epicenter of the earth quake was 325 kms south west from Santiago, capital of Chile. A tusnani warning has been issued for the entire pacific region.
Due to the quake there is a power outage in the Santiago and Concepcion. As of now close to 300 people are dead, however it is predicted that death toll will increase.
