Men's Tennis is a flourishing branch of tennis and is governed by their governing body ATP or the Association of Tennis Professionals formed in 1972 which holds a number of men's tennis tournaments round the year.
The governing body provides information about the players enlisted under it and also the different tournament it organizes. The statistics of all the men tennis players are also available at there. The ranking for the men's tennis is also provided by its governing body as does the Women's Tennis Association or the WTA for the women players.

Men's tennis is played as both singles and doubles matches which need a perfect combination of skill and power. The main qualities needed in the game apart from the skills and techniques are the power and stamina. The governing body ATP organizes a number of tournaments like the Wimbledon , the French Open , the Australian Open , the US Open and a few other tournaments. Besides, several other men's tennis tournaments are held which are not enlisted under the ATP. Some of the successful players of men's tennis are Bjorn Borg, Boris Becker, John McEnroe, Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.

Men's tennis is one of the most flourishing sports. The success of the players in the men's circuit are attracting more and more new players there and the sport is fast taking the shape of a global sport
