Andre Agassi Tennis Player

Andre Agassi , one of the greatest tennis players to have ever played the game, had become a legend while he was still in the summit of his career. Born on 29 th April, 1970, Agassi had an atmosphere around him which helped him immensely in being a champion tennis player later. His father, Emmanuel “Mike” Agassi, wanted his son to be a great tennis player. So he hung tennis balls over an infant Agassi's crib to develop his eye-coordination. He also made sure that Agassi, who used to hit 3,000 to 5,000 balls everyday, never went out of resources. Even when in his childhood, Agassi had the chance to practice with tennis greats like Roscoe Tanner and Jimmy Connors.

Andre Agassi, who had a baseline style of approaching the game, had his proper training of tennis at Nick Bollettieri's Tennis Academy in Florida. However, he soon grew rebellious and left the academy. Instead, he joined the professional tennis at the age of only sixteen in 1986 and even advanced beyond the initial round of his first tournament in La Quinta in California. Since then Agassi won 60 titles in his career. These included all the Grand Slams - Wimbledon , French Open , US Open and Australian Open- besides a number of other tournaments. His main forte was his hand-eye coordination . Agassi retired on the 3 rd of September, 2006, after stretching his career for an awesome twenty one years.

After his retirement, Andre Agassi married the women's tennis ace Steffi Graf . Of all the players who have entered the professional tennis world, Andre Agassi is surely one of the greatest tennis stars ever born.
